About
Anti-Pigment Targeted Areas Body Cream
Melanin is a natural pigment that gives colour to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and ageing can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation appears as dark patches and age spots (also known as sun spots) that make skin look uneven.
Eucerin Anti-Pigment Targeted Areas Body Cream combines powerful active ingredients that work in different ways to promote your skin’s radiance and reduce hyperpigmentation at the source by effectively reducing the appearance of dark spots while thickening skin on friction areas (knees, elbows), small areas of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation:
The cream is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduces the appearance of dark spots and small areas of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation as well as smooth thickened skin on friction areas (knees, elbows). First results are visible after two weeks and improve continuously with regular use. Skin is smooth and looks even, refined and with a natural radiant glow.

Thiamidol is a Eucerin patented ingredient. Ten years in development, this highly effective active is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their re-appearance.
Panthenol and Dexpanthenol are two names commonly used for the same ingredient. Panthenol converts into Pantothenic Acid (a B Complex Vitamin) in the skin and enhances skin regeneration and repair. When applied regularly, it has been proven to considerably improve symptoms of skin irritation such as dryness, roughness, scaling and redness.
Panthenol/Dexpanthenol is also an effective moisturizer. It improves hydration in the outermost layers of the skin and helps to reduce transepidermal water loss.
Lactic Acid (also known as Lactate) is part of skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) and a key component of skin’s protective acid mantle which regulates the pH value of skin. It absorbs and retains moisture within the outermost layer of the skin and so plays a vital role in skin condition. It is also comedolytic.
Hyaluronic Acid is formed by skin cells and is part of the connective tissue of the skin. One of its key functions is to retain moisture, and it has the ability to bind in between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten liters). As we age, the skin's natural ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid depletes and wrinkles start to form and deepen.
I’m looking for an Anti-Pigment product for my whole body. Is this product right for me?
Eucerin Anti-Pigment Targeted Areas Body Cream is for targeting dark spots, small areas of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and thickened skin on friction areas (knees, elbows).
Try Anti-Pigment Daily Body Lotion for a more hydrated, radiant and unified skin on the whole body: It effectively reduces the appearance of dark spots and discolorations, large areas of pigmentation, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
I’m looking for a product that reduces the appearance of dark spots and discolorations on sensitive intimate areas?
Can I use Eucerin Anti-Pigment Targeted Areas Body Cream instead of a moisturiser?
Eucerin Anti-Pigment Targeted Areas Body Cream contains concentrated Hyaluronic Acid which improves skin moisturisation. It is effective when used individually, as part of your current skincare routine, or alongside other products in the Eucerin Anti-Pigment range.
Eucerin Anti-Pigment Targeted Areas Body Cream does not protect skin from the sun. As the sun’s rays are a key contributor to hyperpigmentation it’s important to wear an appropriate sun protection product, even on cloudy days. We recommend that, if you apply the Serum in the morning, you follow it with Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day SPF 30 to help fade existing acne marks and protect skin from the sun, thereby reducing further sun-induced pigmentation issues. For intense sun exposure choose a higher protection factor from the Eucerin Sun Protection range.
